Perimeter Village in Dunwoody according to news reports The next morning s News In the present day was the first to overview that the Cincinnati-based grocer is expected to open one of its large-format Marketplace stores in place of the former Walmart which closed last July after years of trouble with a capital T Walmart announced it shuttered the location because of less-than-impressive sales but multiple regular shoppers considered that the real reason behind the store s closing was a lack of customer provision and frequent incidents of shoplifting and other is retiring Steve Fortenberry who left the business world in to begin a finance academy at Dunwoody High School that has changed thousands of lives is retiring in December I m turning and it just seemed like it was time Fortenberry described Rough Draft It seems like I ve lived my whole life at Dunwoody I graduated from here I taught here and my kids went here Dunwoody s Finance Academy began in with just students with the goal of evolving into a mini-MBA undertaking that taught real-life lessons in entrepreneurship marketing international business finance and AP macroeconomics Fortenberry estimates that students have gone through the two-year effort with a great number of graduates moving on to impressive careers in the financial industry Even as we speak Fortenberry and his academy students are exploring New York City and meeting with top executives at Goldman Sachs Google and the National Football League Read about Fortenberry s legacy and the love his former students and group members have for him Photo by Bring it Home Bring it Home for Dunwoody The Dunwoody High School Football association has never had a home battle on its own field The Wildcat neighborhood has decided it s time for that to end Bring it Home composed of a group of parents DHS faculty and locality members is in the midst of raising million to expand its home field seating to to enable varsity sports to be played onsite So far fundraising has topped An anonymous DHS graduate is also throwing in a cool million I have my ideas about his or her identity Anyone who s been in Dunwoody for a hot minute may also have an educated guess see the emoji hint above Bringing Friday night lights back to Dunwoody has been a long time coming I am so impressed with the potential and enthusiasm of not only the Bring it Home committee but also the entire region announced DHS Principal Tom Bass Parents teachers neighbors and future Wildcat families are all coming together to aid this mission Read more about
