Donaldson-Bannister House to host Light Up Dunwoody event this November
Donaldson-Bannister House file photo The Dunwoody Homeowners Association at its Oct meeting broadcasted that its popular Light Up Dunwoody event will move to the lawn of the Donaldson-Bannister House at the corner of Chamblee Dunwoody and Vermack Road We ve outgrown the Burger King parking lot at the Shops of Dunwoody commented DHA president Tim Brown This new location has a lot of working parts but we are excited about it Parking will be available at nearby Independence Square Office Park and Vermack Pool for the Nov event which will run from p m to p m and culminate with the twilight lighting of the holiday tree and menorah Related stories Light Up Dunwoody draws record crowds Candidates share vision for future of city at DHA Rough Draft Entertainment will include routines by Dan Company dancers a performance by the Dunwoody High School band crafts for children and an appearance by Santa Spruill Center for the Arts will supply materials to make an ornament to take home or place on the DHA tree Food trucks will also be on site This year organizers have rented a large stage to help with visibility Brown revealed In other news Brown disclosed the Oct DHA Rough Draft Atlanta candidate forum received positive feedback from attendees and candidates We were elated at the turnout and the venue Stage Door Theatre was phenomenal he noted We hope to have the forums there forever Brown explained he was pleased with the attendance in a non-mayoral poll year and revealed that number will be much higher when the top seat is up for grabs in two years The post Donaldson-Bannister House to host Light Up Dunwoody event this November appeared first on Rough Draft Atlanta
